Q4 2020 Performance of Top Zombie Games on iOS in Europe

As we close the books on the final quarter of 2020, the undead have never been more alive on the iOS platform in Europe. Sensor Tower's data gives us a glimpse into the top-performing zombie games of the season.

Starting with State of Survival: Zombie War, published by FunPlus International AG, we saw a significant uptick in downloads, peaking at 133K in the last week of the year. Revenue also showed strong growth, hitting a high of $2.4M in the third week of December. The game maintained a healthy base of weekly active users, rising to 589K by the end of December.

Last Shelter: Survival by LONG TECH NETWORK LIMITED demonstrated a steady revenue stream with a notable peak at $343K during the penultimate week of November. Downloads surged to over 10K in the final week, with weekly active users reaching 70K, indicating a robust and engaged audience.

Hong Kong Ke Mo software Co., Limited's Age of Origins:Tower Defense saw a consistent flow of revenue, topping at $310K at the year's end. Despite a dip in November, downloads bounced back to 13K, and active users showed a slight increase to 99K in the same period.

The newcomer Puzzles & Survival, launched in August 2020 by BUILDING-BLOCKS NETWORK TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED, had a remarkable fourth quarter. Revenue grew from $30K to a high of $180K in the week leading to Christmas. Downloads remained solid, with a notable 21K in the last week, and active users mirrored this growth, ending the year at 48K.

Lastly, Last Day on Earth: Survival from Kefir rounded out the list with a revenue spike to $153K in the third week of December. Downloads showed a healthy increase to 23K, and weekly active users grew to nearly 130K, ending the year on a strong note.
